What does it mean to be a Keystone STARS Star 4 Center?Being a Keystone STARS Star 4 Center means we meet the highest standards for early childhood education in Pennsylvania. This rating reflects our commitment to quality care, a highly trained staff, a safe and nurturing environment, and a curriculum that supports children's development in all areas.
-
What are your tuition rates and payment policies?Tuition is a fixed rate and does not change if your child misses days. If absent for a full week (Monday–Friday), tuition is half-rate to hold their spot. Late payments incur a $15 fee. We accept checks, ACH (automatic debit), and cash. A 15% sibling discount applies to the oldest child when multiple children are enrolled. Contact us for specific rates.
-
What is your withdrawal policy? We require a two weeks written notice of withdrawal. Failure to do so will result in payment of tuition for the full two- week period.
-
What is your late pickup policy?Late pick up is not a normal program option, it will only be considered as an exceptional occurrence. Pickups after 5:30 pm are subject to a $20 late fee charge for the first 15 minutes and $2 per minute thereafter. All late fees will be addressed by the director within 24 hours. Repeated late pick up may result in child care services being terminated.
-
What is your health and wellness policy? All children must be up to date on immunizations per CDC and AAP guidelines. Exemptions for medical, religious, or philosophical reasons must be submitted in writing. Unimmunized children may be excluded during outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases. Staff members are also required to maintain recommended immunizations. Routine physicals are required, with documentation due within 60 days of enrollment. Physicals must be updated every six months for children under two and annually for those three and older. Children showing signs of illness—including fever (100.4°F+), vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious conditions—must stay home until symptom-free for 24 hours. If a child becomes ill during the day, parents will be contacted for immediate pickup. A doctor’s note may be required for return after a contagious illness. Medications must be provided in their original container and accompanied by a completed medication log. Prescription medications require physician details, and non-prescription medications cannot be given for more than three days without a doctor’s note. For the well-being of all, children may be excluded if they are too ill to participate, require more care than staff can provide, or pose a risk to others due to contagious illness.
