About Our Staff:

Tomorrow’s World currently employs thirteen staff members who are a group of very dedicated child care professionals. Two staff members hold Associate Degrees in the fields of Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education and/or Child Development. Several other staff members are currently working on their CDA’s or have attained it already. All staff are certified in Pediatric First Aid and take a minimum of twelve hours of training annually. One staff member has been with Tomorrow’s World for over twenty years and another two for over ten years. Staff are currently working as a team to advance levels in the Keystone STARS Program.

About The Director:

Lydia is one of 10 children, she grew up in a big family and has two young daughters herself. She has been caring for children since she was 14 when she began babysitting the neighborhood children. Lydia has been a private nanny for multiple families over the years as well as a preschool teacher. Lydia holds a bachelor’s degree in social services. For part of her career she was employed with Lancaster County Children and Youth Agency as part of her journey in caring for children and her desire to ensure their safety and welfare. Lydia resigned from her position with the Agency to pursue a new path of working in childcare to provide a safe and fun learning environment for the children in the community. Her desire is for families to have peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe, supportive and loving environment when not in the care of their families. Lydia is excited about the opportunity to be a part of the lives of your children as we care for them while helping them to learn, grow, and thrive.
